Paul Steed and I were actually in the "Sexiest Male" contest although back then he had the "hair / sword" thingy going and I was doing the "topless for votes" deal. I'll tell you what, no stone is left unturned and nothing is sacred. . . some of the more colorful comments involve "small penis buttons" and "John Romero at a self help seminar".  This one cant be missed. **click it****click it** Presidents Day, 2000 In the process of interviewing as many WebMasters as I have lately, I have had some great conversations with all of them. I have gained a little knowledge as to which companies will give stuff for reviews and which companies actually couldn't give a rip whether or not anyone ever get's to review their products. I have been told that some reviewers even had to get "certain companies" products through their own retail sponsors because the most of these suck-ass companies rely mainly on their own internal Marketing, and let the product be shipped w/o any reviews in the hopes their products are purchased on HYPE alone. . . wow.                                                     At the end of this coming week, I am going to publish the "Top Ten STUPIDEST" excuses that hardware companies have given for NOT sending a product for review. And let me tell you. . . some are downright funny. Here's a little taste " I'm sorry but I am afraid that I do not have any product to send to you at this time.  But please stay in touch as you never know when my board allocation will change." Wow, the WHOLE company was completely out of video cards at the time. . . . . not even a used board?? :^) Suck-ass companies BEWARE. . . stupid, newbie webmasters such as myself might just do the unthinkable and print the names of your COMPANIES here, and then suffer the consequences later. Then again, What consequences could there possibly be. . . their already NOT sending me their products. Hmmm, I got an idea... Just to let the FAITHFUL contest guys-n-gals know, I am HARD at work to get some give away T-shirts, Hats and such to give to you guys that are entering in each contest faithfully. As we all know, I've been mass campaigning to get some companies to throw in some cool prizes to give away. . .  well, alot of these letters went out last night to some of my favorite companies. Wow. . . . .  I've NEVER had a dealing with anyone at Tennmax before because every product I've ever bought from them still works awesome, but this is simply amazing, if a company can handle beggers like me like that. . . . you guys need to seriously consider buying from these guys!!  So, needless to say, I'm gonna crack out the details with my new found friend Vincent, and get some Coolers to review on this OverClocked Dual 433's at 600mhz box I am writing to you all on now, and then give em' AWAY! ! ! ! ! I am getting an average of 1750+ hits a day. . . . We can get that puppy in the mail tonight if we break 10,000 today!!! I am thinking up a COOL contest for the limited edition Q3Arena TinBox. . . .  So stay tuned freaks. . . . .  Cool Tip of the Day  Not that I should ( or would ) do this, but one of our "contestants" in the drawing said his tip for getting to the 10,000 mark is "logging on to hypothermia, then I hit the refresh button a couple of times before I log off your site" hehehe, cool. . . thanks JM!!! And the second funniest one was "dood, I made Hypothermia my Start page so every time I fire up my browser ( 2 or 3x a day ) you get another hit" now thats some funny ass stuff. . . Thank you GL_92!!! You guys are too cool.  HypoThermia EVERYWHERE! ! !  . . . . well kinda :^). .  Alot of e-mail has been flying in over the fact there are TWO (that we know of) Q3Arena sites called Hypothermia. Although it may cause a little confusion, My buddie Ian Jefferies has a cool site up with a tutorial on using Borland to compile Quake3 Arena code. It's an alternative to using C++ (as I understand it).
