Mon 10.30.00 -Steve
I know I talk about how "COOL" these contests are, but now I have PROOF they are the most awesome contests on the net. . . Kyle at [H]ard|OCP just informed me that my main man Drew at AMD not only coughed up a spanky new 800MHz Duron for my last little contest, but he threw in a 128mb stick of PC133 to go with it. . . . Boo Yah baby. Now that's cool.

Now I know that some of these contests do take awhile to finish up ( slow response from winners etc. ) I am just trying to be fair to all. . . you can relate IF you were a winner, wanting to have a chance to claim your prize. But HEY, now response is good for you, we simply keep the contest running until we get a winner. . .

As a side note. . . how many people are interested in an AWESOME seven foot Burmese Python?? I need to find someone interested in this little guy ( Sampson is his name ). . . before he ends up as my next contest prize! ! ! So if your into snakes, and your interested.... shoot me a line.

Weekend Goodies -Steve
O.K. guys, it's time for more giveaway action. . . . I cant let this stuff just sit ;^) Since many of you wanted the last Duron 800MHz contest to go the full two week, giving you more chances to win, I am giving away the actual 800MHz unit used in the [H]ard|OCP article. . . with a MSI K7T Pro motherboard and HSF to boot. . . dead serious. Get in it. . .to win it!!!

Thu 10.26.00 -Steve
I am a dumbass. . . . as many of you **ahem** may have noticed, Asia Carrera and I are buddies, and she graciously helps me out here and there by answering questions, sending cool pictures and such. . . well, yesterday, I earned the crown of King Moron when I got a little e-mail from Asia saying:

hey i was showing your site to my pals at work today, and i noticed you made some cool icons on the side of your frames page, one of which had my name on it! :) but... you spelled my name wrong... it's carrera, not carerra DOH!! LOL!!

hugs,
asia

good god, that did not just happen. . . . I now wear the crown, King Moron.

Secondly, I have a winner for the Duron 800MHz, the winner is Justin Leong from Balaclava, Victoria Australia, I will contact my buddy Drew at AMD and have his processor shipped out A.S.A.P. Congrats to Justin. And just for the record. . . Justin has entered every contest, every day and FINALLY he won something! ! ! So it does pay off to enter these damn things....

and just for giggles. . . I have another 800MHz Duron I can give away. Next Contest?? or maybe a Motherboard to go with it and do a package giveaway?? hmmm

I am waiting for the final confirmation on the other contest winners, so PLEASE keep entering. All contests are open until a winner is ANNOUNCED.

I also have a bunch of interview stuff coming up. . . some "Ask Asia" stuff, more contests. . . a little super exclusive stuff too.

Mon 10.23.00 -Steve
Since a ton of you asked, and technically. . . . I shoulda posted these already ;^) here are the case pics from the 1300MHz article and how this bad boy looks while I am using it. Pretty damn spiffy if you ask me.

Here I am again. . . . dying to give something away. This time, I am celebrating the success of my Duron 800 review on [H]ard|OCP. So I thought I'd give the CPU that hit 1100MHz away!! Hell, why not. . . . so if your interested in doing the 800MHz Duron shuffle, head on over and get in the mix. .

Got a few things brewing here for you guys soon in the way of interviews and such. . . . and tons more giveaway action as well. So make sure you check back. . . . never know what I got up my sleeve.  (**gee, isn't Q3: Team Arena suppose to be here soon. . . along with a couple Autographed Copies??**)

Well, the man that won the "Site Design" contest has received  his goodies. . . and he has smacked up a little article on his site as well. If you like the redesign, and your thinking of getting either a website done, or a new menu bar, or just a facelift, my man Yafujifide might be your man too. . . Heh, plus it's nice to see him playing around with his new hardware from HYPOTHERMIA!!! Congrats Bro...

Mon 10.02.00 -Steve
